Each year the Club holds a Championship show, an Open show and an Annual Fun Day including novelty classes and fancy dress (for the dogs). The Club also organises friendly matches with clubs of other breeds plus other shows warranted by members on merit.

In order to join the SW Branch it is necessary to also become a member of the Basset Hound Club UK. Both can be joined by using our application form.
